Kongu Business Forum (KBF), Pollachi needed an official website for its business community — a place where members, events and enquiries all lived in one clear, public home.
The DexosHouse Development Team delivered a responsive static website in 2 weeks, from requirement analysis to deployment and client approval. This is the story of how those 14 days were spent: what we planned, what we designed, where the AI helped, where it did not, and what we would carry into the next project.
Project at a glance
The screens we shipped
Five pages, one event detail view, and a shared header and footer. Navy and gold throughout, Playfair Display for headings, photography from KBF's own events.
The 4-phase workflow
Fourteen days is not much room for improvisation. We split the fortnight into four phases before writing a single line of markup, and held to the split.
Requirement analysis & planning
The first two days were spent entirely in conversation and inventory. We sat with KBF Pollachi to understand who the site was for, what the forum wanted visitors to do, and which content already existed. Everything that followed was a consequence of getting this right.
- Discussed requirements, objectives and target audience
- Identified key pages, features and content
- Reviewed existing content, branding and reference websites
- Finalized scope, technology approach and timeline
- 2-week timeline
- Client confirmation needed for some content and images
- AI-generated code needed manual review and testing
- Responsive compatibility required
- Completed within 2 weeks
- Required pages and functionalities implemented
- Responsive and user-friendly
- Client approval
- Successful deployment
Two days of scoping bought back far more than two days later. The pages, the stack and the deadline were all agreed before design began.
UI/UX design
Design ran in Figma. Wireframes were created for the key pages first, then a visual system — colour palette, typography, layouts and components — was built on top of them and checked at three widths before any of it reached code.
User flows
Four paths covered almost everything a visitor or the team would need to do on the site.
AI-assisted development
“AI-assisted, human-reviewed development.”
AI tools gave us a running start on structure and boilerplate. They did not give us the website. Every generated block was read, corrected, restyled to the Figma design and tested in the browser before it stayed in the build.
All AI-generated code was manually reviewed, tested and customized. The website is not fully AI-generated.
Technical approach
A static frontend was the right fit for the brief, and the stack stayed deliberately small.
Testing & bug fixing
Bugs found
Deployment
Hosting on MilesWeb, domain kbfpollachi.com. Deployment was completed within the 2-week timeline. Monitoring and analytics were not implemented. Owner: DexosHouse Development Team.
Final review & content updates
The result: a final website approved by the client.
Handover & team
The website was handed over after deployment, with website source files and deployment details. Post-launch, minor updates and content changes are made as required.
Outcome
Primary. The website was completed, client-approved and deployed within 2 weeks.
Secondary. It is responsive, user-friendly and functional across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Lessons
A clear 4-phase plan made a 14-day delivery achievable.
AI speeds up development, but human review and testing are essential.
Early client input on content reduces late-stage corrections.
